Driving more traffic to your website is best done using a few different methods:

On site SEO -this means to make sure the title of your website, the description, keywords and URL is all relevant to your targeted market/keywords. You can go so far as to tag your images with your keywords as well, but as to the weight this is in google's eyes, I'm not entirely sure.

Off site SEO -this means to build back links and distribute content to other sites. Blogs have become a very popular method for a number of reasons.
