    setting up affiliate marketing.

Alright, so my product is fairly simple: 10$/year subscription to my website that focuses on education related preparation for various exams. I know the demographic: 14-18 year old high school kids who are preparing for these exams. Theres alot of different products that cater to this market: study guides, books and so on. However they are very expensive so thats my main selling point: good value compared to what you get.

Its a fairly new site. I don't want to spend money on pay per click advertising or anything like that. I think its too expensive. I only want to pay for results: new sales. The best way to do this IMO is through affiliate marketing. For every sale you get me, I give you 25% or whatever amount. The site is very low operating cost right now. Its at about a 95% profit margin and it is making a profit. So I can afford to pay high commissions.

What are my possible options for setting up this type of deal? I'd prefer to run it myself through my website to cut out the middlemen but if there is a decent 3rd party company that can do the job without nickel and dimming me then I might consider that.

To run it yourself you need a PHP script.

Your idea is flawed however. Your compensation
offer isn't lucrative enough to attract affiliates
    who will take action.

Clickbank affiliate commissions run from 50-75%
and merchants with products selling for less than
$30 often struggle to attract affiliates. 25%
is not an attractive commission to most affiliates.

Check out HotScripts.com. Under the PHP scripts category there is another category showcasing affiliate scripts. Many are excellent out-of-the-box solutions.
