    Questions about my site...

As you all know i with some other launched a site called party-foul we are in the midst of redesigning the website (new one should be up in 1-2 weeks. Would you all suggest we use a flash website or just a fairly normal website with html, php, css?

With this new site design upgrade we will be linking in our twitter, blog, and merch store to our website.

As far as advertising is concerned, we are looking to focus more on keyword optimization. We are in the top 2 pages in google for 2-4 different phrases, and are page 1-2 on yahoo for 2 phrases. Since we have relatively little content right now, do you all see anywhere we could improve or optimize it? Obviously we will have a much better success with this once our new web design is up with the new attached content.

We also have a budget of about $50 to spend on advertising... Would you all suggest online advertising (google adwords) or creating shirts and hats to sell as the most productive form for our site?

Any suggestions as far as online advertising is concerned for 50-100 a month to start up please let us know!

I know a flash is much harder to optimize for the search engines ranking. I could be wrong, but I was always under the impression that content within flash wasn't able to be indexed by the search engines. And the only way to get indexed by the search engines using a flash site was to have seo friendly links and allot of incoming links.

Inexess is correct. Flash sites are horrible when it comes to SEO, the best way is to create an html/css site that is a copy of the flash site and put it in the same directory as the flash site. Your customers will never see it but google will find it and it will help out.

Id go with a regular html/css site, loading flash sites annoy me and is usually not really needed.

Go with the standard html site, flash tends to steer away many potential visitors due to computers not being fast enough.

hi everyone, just wanting to update. The new template is still under way, we've had a few issues throughout the way though.

we also have a facebook fanpage now if you would all like to join Welcome to Facebook | Facebook

The new web design should be up later this week. Traffic is still slow though... not much improvement, but it is staying constant. Does anyone have any tips for paid marketing PPC programs or anything like that?

what are the thoughts on buying traffic from other sites?

I would not use flash. Try to use a more SEO friendly CMS like Joomla or Drupal.
I suggest to setup a self hosted WordPress blog and to start create remarkable and useful content for your potential clients and users. This could improve your lead generation and sales.

Yes Joomla is going to be used, not flash. We have established that with the designer.

thoughts on buying traffic? we have a blog we are working on to begin traffic generation.
