Practical Public Sector Marketing?

First off I'm new to the site, Hello all.

I have a fairly general question:

Any ideas for a practical way of marketing a public sector job posting website? I've had a few ideas pitched to me already but as warrants the post, none of them qualify as the "golden egg" idea.

LinkedIn groups may bring in a little free marketing. If you can find a group that's relevant to the public sector. Also, feel free to contact public sector companies that look as if they are hiring. Contacting directly may help to show initiative if they don't having a successful hiring strategies.
