    PR Strategy to launch new E-commerce?

    I have a brand new E-commerce coming soon on Amazon Webstore selling jewelry. I want to launch it BIG but I do not have more than $1000 to dedicate to PR.

    So far I am planning to have the following strategy:
    1 - Send emails to 1000 editors in the jewelry business and tell them to have a press release on s specific day
    2 - I will use prweb.com and other free press release to launch it.

    Any other ideas on how to use PR to launch a new business?

    Is your e-commerce store tied into Amazon? Or do you have a standalone site as well?

    It is a standalone webstore, powered (hosted + checkout) by Amazon.

    Well, if you use the one thousand dollars wisely, it can go a long way.

    One of the things I recommend before investing in email marketing is to ensure that the email marketing is to contact emails and that it is targeted. Not to mention that you also want to make certain that your AD is the ONLY ad in the email. This type of email marketing is called solo ads. There are many services out there, so make sure that you ask questions and read customer satisfaction reviews.

    Sounds like a good idea, don't forget all the free advertising on social networks etc.

    Seems to me word of mouth will be your biggest and best advertising from people showing off the goods they bought from you. I would offer opening discounts ive had some success doing that on diffrent forums but in your case i would check out some of the youtube channels about jewlery and style. Get in contact with some of the bigger ones and offer then free/cheap jewlery in return for plugging your site in one of their videos.
