Online ways to market like Backpage

    Hey folks,

I'm able to draw a lot of traffic to my site by advertising on backpage.com. It's a very nice site and lets you:

    1. build your ads in HTML
    2. pay to post in multiple cities

In my mind the above 2 reasons are why this is superior to Kijiji (no HTML) and Craiglist (extremely strict on multiple posts and no capability to do multi city posts).

    QUESTION

Can anyone suggest any sites similar to backpage that would have a similar audience and capabilities as mentioned above?

    Looking to broaden my marketing!

    Thanks,

    R

    Hey Robousy,

I know of a "Free Classified ads online". This is a decent place to check out if you are interested in creating some additional flow to your website. Though it might be time to start checking into writing articles for some major article directories. The process is time consuming but a great way to create buzz for your site. If you're low on the article content you might also tryout a quick video ad format. Sites like Youtube.com, Adwido.com, and Viddler.com are great for uploading Video Ads and then using these to promote your business on all of the major search engines.

    Ty Torelli here -

One very successful way to promote your site without "spending" money is to sign up with an affiliate company. They have people that will push your site and get your those quality leads and sales!!

A good friend of mine, Mike Filsaime has a new affiliate program out. Here is the link if you want to check it out.

You need to understand that a little more effort needs to be used for free advertising say, then a paid method, but the earning potential will be just about the same without you having to spend a dime. Here are some free ways that you can market online.

Have you tried facebook advertising, the reason i ask is because you can be as specific as you want when it comes to this. For example you can choose the age, location, relationship status as well as many others; all this will help you reach your target market group.

If you need any help setting up this is a free bootcamp that i found on facebook marketing I personaly found it rearly useful because of the step by step way it talks you though facebook marketing. The Bootcamp link is below and its totally free (the one on facebook is video 4)

Also it sounds stupid but have you tried youtube, the reason i recomend posting videos on here with your business websight is that youtube has something like 2 billion views a day, its free and you can link it to a facebook page about your business, show them some of your work.

    Hope this helps
