Need a boost in advertising.

Hello,
My Name is Phil. I started a business early this year in consignments. Basically I offer a service to list products for customers via Craigslist, ebay, facebook market place, its own facebook page. Although I dont have alot of products listed right now, I am having problems moving the products I do have. As far as advertising goes, I have put out flyers, and made the facebook page for the business. Other than that I have done nothing with it b/c I do not have the funding for it. Word of mouth is there, but I do not have the money to start a web page, or even put an ad in the paper, YET. naturally these things will be at the top of my list when I get the money for them. What OTHER ways could I stimulate buyers and sellers to follow me and keep an eye on my listings, and or list with me?

This is tough because really anything that you do is going to cost money.

When we have a client we always break down the 5 media avenues

-Print- An ad in a magazine could work. Its would be easier to advertise the service that you offer instead of the products that you carry
-Web- Best bet. Most cost efficient
-Mail- Eh, maybe, could work for getting client to list with you but i wouldnt plan on selling anything through it
-Tv- Too expensive
-Radio- Too Expensive

Honestly i think without a website your not gonna see much response. Push these products the best you can and save up for a website. They arent as expensive as you think. We have a program the actually mirrors ebay stores onto a website template. Once that site is up i think you see alot more traffic. Your traget market it online users.

Yeah if you want good promotion, you definitely would have to spend a bit of money. You could make a Facebook and give people links, make some Flyers for cheap, do some mass mailing, but it will cost money. I do a business promotion service, and I can give you a discount on my service because I met you on this forum (^_^)
