Marketing to non college residence in a college town

So I am starting a bicycle repair business and am having trouble targeting the non college bike riders in my city. I am going to post flyers on campus and mini flyers on peoples bikes. What cheap ways could I get the word out to the large cycling community that does not go to college?

Where are the non-college bikers hanging around?
What are they talking about, listening to, their concerns, their thoughts?
    What do they like?
    Who are they(think demographics)?
What are they looking at in your offerings & how can your offerings solve their problems & provides benefits for them?

There are hundreds of ways to reach & retain your prospects/customers & turning them into profitable, recurring & regenerating fans..
But before that, you will need to know more about your own business & your customers well enough to bridge it @ the shortest time, using the least resources & reaping the highest possible returns..

    Creating Awareness is ONE issue..
Converting these Awareness into Sales is ANOTHER issue..
