    Local Marketing Strategies

    Hey guys,

I am currently trying to promote a site that sells internet services. I want to try and get local businesses to be interested and eventually buy one of my services.
    Here they are:
    SEO
    Webpage Design
    Online & Offline Consultancy
    iPhone Application Development

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what ways I would best be able to promote this to local businesses in my town!

    Thanks!

Yeh, form my previous experience I realise that this is clearly the best way. What do you think is the best way to approach this?

    Thanks!

    local SEO

I've had a lot of success with local marketing via organic SEO with a ton of elbow grease. The few things I've found work for my site: Marketing Orange County Marketing Company Irvine Guideas would be creating local content rich pages for my keyword phrases attached to the local area.

My focus is 'marketing' and 'orange county' so I have several different combinations of offerings under the marketing banner and several key locations tied together into keyword phrases. These phrases are then used in the URL link structure and I have specific pages designed for each combination. Google seems to like this.

Reputation management is huge here and it's essential to own your keyword phrases no matter where you maintain it. The most important thing as with all business ventures is to work hard and put as much time into it as possible. It's not about how much money you spend on AdWords, it's about building your reputation online.

I am in the same field as you.....so by my exp. as well social marketing i.e. spending 2-3 hrs a day on differenet different project bidding sites like freelancer.com you can get the business
for yourself locally or from any part of the world......
    2) second is as mentioned by some of YE members here...go and meet customers.......make freinds with thme first...give them a confidence that "you are not selling just helping them to buy"...
ask the problems, know abt their business rather that telling all bla bla things abt u r own buiness.......business will automatically flows...

beside that best of luck for u r venture.....
