    Question Increaseing Traffic

They say that social media and article directories helps increase traffic to your site. But for you what are the top 5 sites that increase traffic faster?

    For me:
    1. Twitter (social media)
    2. Facebook (social media)
    3. Ezine (directory)
    4. Articlesbase (directory)
    5. Articlesnath (directory)

I'd like to know if it also works for you.

YouTube is a huge one. If you choose your title/keywords wisely, you can get thousands of views to your video within hours. It doesn't take a huge click-through-rate to get a nice bump in traffic to your site.

I get a lot of traffic from Stumbleupon , Digg , goarticle , articlesnatch and some forums , but i prefer organic traffic rather than referring site traffic.

Organic is definitely the way to go. However, you can use a combination of social media/bookmarking/pinging to really power-up your organic traffic.

As you have already noticed you are going to receive a lot of different answers on this. Remember that when it comes to marketing, there is no "one size fits all" method of promotion. Everyone is going to have varying results. The success of a marketing campaign is influenced or changed by a number of things including product, niche and price. Therefore, what works for some people does not necessarily work for others or even for everyone.

    i agree with trmoreland,
youtube is a huge site that can really help you out in so many ways. but people are very critical on what you put on the videos so be careful. But i also agree with solaods. it's not really what other people think. it's what you think is best about YOUR business. if you take our advice, that's fine. just do what's best for you

Organic searches will have the greatest impact for you but, they are also sometimes the hardest to come by. It requires optimizing search engines, and incorporating key words on you pages.

I may not have posted this one properly before, sorry if it is already outhere, but I have just purchased "mobile monopoly" which is a plateform tha allows you to advertise on mobile phones for very very low click rates.
I havent had huge results yet however im confident that with some tweaking things will change.

    Cheers
