I need marketing ideas and tools

i am currently working for a small home based business and i need to start marketing it better because like everything else in this economy it has dwindled. i have all the social networking sites and i have put out flyers. i do not have a ton of cash set aside for marketing but i am looking for any tips tricks and tools you have used in the past.

Do you have a blog actually?
If not Start a blog and post remarkable content first. The more the better!
Did you register your domain as a Twitter, YouTube, and Slideshare name as well? If not, hurry and do it!
