I Need Help with Marketing

So I am currently a college student studying marketing. My school does a HORRIBLE job at helping us find internships. I no this is an entrepreneur which ties into this. My goal is to some day own my own marketing firm. But obviously I need to know the in's and out's of Marketing. Basically Id like to know how and where to go find a Marketing internship for this summer in the DC/MD area. If anyone could give me any advice on where to look or what to that, I would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to the site, you should try sending YE member Tzarkov a PM, as I know he either has his own, or works at a marketing firm. So I am sure he could give you loads of advice.

As far as finding an internship in those areas, try Craigslist, and Google. Just typing in, "DC internships" should yield some sort of worthwhile results.

Try to address your request through your social media channels like Twitter and Facebook. Do you have your own blog about you and marketing?

I am still getting into the basics. I am still learning alot, even wether or not it is what I want to do, which is why I am seek internship

Freddy, I believe both GKV (which I mentioned before) and MGH are looking for marketing interns in Baltimore and Owings Mills respectively. I know for a fact that that GKV is looking for interns, because my brother was a spring intern and they're looking for summer interns to replace the spring people.

If you can identify the businesses in the area that you may be interested in working out, their website might have information. Give them a call if not and see if they offer internships or if they have jobs available. They might be able to work with you to get one set up.
