    I started by writing articles for free. And was able to get the people in that way... Just have to be creative....

    Here is how it would get attention in my market:

    Shoot a video describing the product and showing how it is used and how it impacts results.

    Develop a Website - have the above video on it, with result testimonials, and contact info

    Put together a BuyPack - single sheet with description of the product, single sheet with cost of the product to the gym, and your video on a DVD. You pick 30 - 50 fitness places and bring these into the owners over the coarse of a week.

    Put together a Press Release. One paragraph talking about how this will increase results, revolutionize the way we work out, ect. One paragraph talking about the actual machine - ease of use, any other features of the machine. One paragraph about the company or where/when people can find the machine. Have your contact information and website on this - so people can click and watch the video...

    If any media outlets pick it up, follow up with your fitness center owners saying "Did you see the mention in XXX Magazine about the machine?..."

    I think for a fitness product marketing, social media is the best option as it lies in B2C domain.
