How to partner with the big car manufactuers?

    Hello,

I have a website with roughly 500,000 unique visitors a month who are interested or seeking to buy cars. I would like to partner up with Ford, Honda, Toyota, GM, etc.

My visitors are in the 18 - 34 year old, male market. I believe these companies are always looking for ways to target this market.

This may seem crazy, but what would it take to get these companies to 'donate' (or just spin it as an advertisement fee) a car or two to us for giveaways/auctions a month? If I do the math, we have roughly 6 to 10 million impressions a month. That means if a average car for the manufacturers is $18,000, that is a cost of $1.80 CPM.

This is the positives I see for these companies to partner with us:

    1) ~$1.80 CPM per car when industry average is $11-$15 CPM.
    2) We are already targeting a market they need 18-34yos., and those who seek to buy cars or show an interest.
    3) We can provide extensive click, traffic info on our visitors, how they react to each car etc where they come from, all that type of valuable information.
    4) We can provide incentives for these visitors to go out and buy cars from our sponsors.
    5) We would like to partner with 3 or 4 manufacturers as we can provide how our visitors see each company when they are paired up against a competitor.

Is this a pipe dream or can this be realistic? If so, how can I go about getting this done? Any advice?

    Thanks

At the minimum, it's worth a shot. Go for it and see what happens!
