I would say that the biggest things for building trust on your blog, is being personal and being real.
If people understand that the blog is being written by a real person, they are more likely to trust what is being said, and if you do not lie or pretend to be something that you are not, there is no chance of you being caught out as a fraud.
Just being your self and by posting good content, also try interact with other bloggers by visiting their blogs and posting comments on them.
Good info articles
Good rankings in SE
Backlinks from niche authority sites news etc etc ...
Having a face on each and every page of your blog makes it personal. Better still, show videos of yourself. A lot of people are starting to do videos today just because people can relate things easier with another talking person instead of just text.
Also, you need to be honest and upfront with people. BE REAL!

You need to give your visitors some useful tips which
they want even without buying your product.
A good strategy is to give them a free ebook and in return
request them to give you their email address.
In this way, you can follow up with your prospects and turn
them into your customer.
In my personal experience, if you interact with visitors through their comments.. either by responding to them by email or visiting their site. Obviously you can't do this with every single visitors, but maybe take 15 minutes a couple times a week and make it a task to interact with visitors on your site, twitter and facebook.

Here's what works in my experience:
1. Give a lot of value. Be a resource and don't be afraid to
reveal your best techniques, mindsets, and ideas for free.
2. Be real, genuine, and transparent.
3. Be personal. Show some picture of yourself. Talk about your hobbies, your beliefs, what you do for fun, passions, and etc.

be trustworthy - be honest and be yourself is my advice (not that I have got into my blog yet as I havent) - but I do read blogs. When I get into mine I plan to have the aqpproach that I cant please all of the people all of the time, so just be myself and be honest to please some of the people most of the time....that will lead to trust in my view
To add to what others have said, add a bio or "About" page with your story. Keep it simple and relevant to what you're blogging about, and give people some insight into the real you. People love to know who they're reading about.

What do you want to say?
Take time to read comments and reply to them. Interact personally with your followers. Get to know more people and ask them what they want to know. Just be yourself, and be honest in every interaction.
First of all, you should have a detailed description about how are you, what are your blog's target, your job, etc... A photo is very important, at the end the people will relate the things that you write with your own photo. Creating quality content for the user. For instance, if you're an expert on technology, share your knowledge with quality articles about it. Take care about grammar, write the best you could.
