Have you tried facebook advertising, the reason i ask is because you can be as specific as you want when it comes to this. For example you can choose the age, location, relationship status as well as many others; all this will help you reach your target market group.

If you need any help setting up this is a free bootcamp that i found on facebook marketing I personaly found it rearly useful because of the step by step way it talks you though facebook marketing. The Bootcamp link is below and its totally free (the one on facebook is video 4)

Also it sounds stupid but have you tried youtube, the reason i recomend posting videos on here with your business websight is that youtube has something like 2 billion views a day, its free and you can link it to a facebook page about your business, show them some of your work.

    Hope this helps

First it's important to define your target market - or your ideal client. Defining demographics is important: Age, Sex, Lifestyle, Occupation etc. If your client is under 24 then Twitter is going to be a good channel to really get offensive with meaning being on Twitter using hash tags (#) and (@) to get your community involved - interacting with them and ultimately building a relationship with them.

If your client is over 24, I'd recommend using Facebook. Create a business page, invite your friends and family to like the page and then post about stuff your clients care about. You sell custom shirts, so talking about fashion, celebrities or things that give you inspiration could get your customers interacting with your page. Make sure to fill out the About page fully - with information about the company including a link back to your main website and a phone number so they can contact you if they are interested in buying.

Marketing your brand/company both Online and Offline have equal weight in importance for a business. Expanding your network by showing up at different events wearing your apparel, getting people excited about it then showing them where they can buy can get your offline customers online and social with your company. Make sure to include a business card with your website, and links to your social outlets ie. Facebook/Twitter or whatever you decide. QR codes are a quick and easy way for your clients to connect with you online, as long as they have a smart phone - which the majority of people have smart phones.

Good Luck. Really, there are a million things you can do to get your business up and running, it just takes dedication and passion!

Two key points here. Advertising is only one narrow form of marketing. Marketing is about sending messages. You send messages in a plethora of avenues; advertising, customer service, by association, quality, public relations, sponsorship, awards, etc... And the second point; marketing is a long-term investment.

social should be really good for this type of business. Build a following on Twitter and Facebook. Be careful not to advertise or sell here, that's not what people are looking for and it's quite annoying. Instead, connect with your followers and interact. Consider hiring a social media expert.
