Facebook for small business

I'm looking for tips on how to use facebook to make business relationships. I have created some pages but with not much sucess.

Facebook is better for keeping in contact with customers than networking. To make colleagues and contacts, try LinkedIn. It's built for professionals and companies and gets very good Google rankings. A Facebook fan page is great if you have a large customer base and want to share pictures, links, sales, etc. Take a look at some of the fan pages for established small businesses and try to emulate them.

I would also try to run a contest or business giveaway campaign as they seem wildly popular on Facebook right now. Check out something along the lines of the "Wildfire App" to get an idea of what is possible for Facebook sweepstakes and conversions. Make sure you are engaging your fans as well and really try to provide and interactive and enhanced experience. Do not forget about other social media tools like Twitter and Reddit and Google+ etc. Try a bunch of different things and see what works. Best of luck!

Dont worry about download facebook ebooks, worry about your business!

All you need to do is create a facebook page and give updates to your customers. At least 2-3 a week.

When you get comments back, interact with them. Have conversations. Engage your target market. Make friends with them.

You should also post interesting facts more than information about your company. If you own a car company, post cool car facts, not just facts about your car.

Make yourself an expert in your field. Force people to recognize you as an expert. Why wouldnt they? You constantly post great industry information and constantly have conversations with your target market. They will eventually love you!

Well my personal experience says you have to create a page of entertainment related stuff. They get popular fast and you can promote almost every thing there.
