    Welcome to the forum.

I actually just started a "market blitz" on Facebook this weekend. It has worked AWESOME. I run My Crappy Status. It has to do with Facebook statuses, so Facebook made sense for me to market in.

My websites group has went up by 112 members in five days of marketing. Friday through Sunday morning I had 95+ more visits on the site than usual. Went up everyday. The great thing, I did not spend more than five dollars per day. Fifteen dollars all weekend, and it paid off.

Right now I am working on a smaller plan, three dollars per day. I still get around 30,000+ impressions per day with a .212% click through rate.

Feel free to contact me through email or through the site for more information.

I believe this is way cheaper, and you get results. Plus they display the stats of your ad very nicely. I would highly recommend doing marketing with Facebook.

google adwords is cracking down. Leveraging facebook is very handy. I suggest it for a PPC solution at the moment given googles flush of adwords and massive slaps and even banning that has been going on as of late.

    Hi,

    Thats some amazung stats.

I just thought i'd point out that mycrappy status is very much concerned with statuses which basically one of the main features on Facebook so Bohlman's ads where in the right place.

*im just beign cautious here. Has anybody else advertised on facebook?

Have you seen how many ad's Facebook puts on each page? More than one.

If you use Facebook, How many ad's do you click on? Most likely none.

People do not look at ad's all that much on Facebook. They have a purpose and they don't even bother looking at them.

If you know some secret how to get a higher click through rate please enlighten us.

    Anyways.....

I believe THIS PAGE will help everyone interested in Facebook marketing.

jesus, i must of messed up my settings on my facebook campaign GetMeABuilder ! i was paying 47p per click! and it didnt seem to give me an option to lower it... Maybe i should revisit it and see where i was going wrong.

Google adwords has been successful for me, although it can be expensive

I've read blogs of people making $1,000 a day on facebook. I've always been interested in learning about it a bit, but never felt I'd have the resources and thus didn't get into it. If somebody wanted to help me out and share a relatively weak, yet still profitable campaign with me, I'd be willing to get started

If I helped you or you just want to donate a blogroll link to me, it'd be much appreciated. Do I expect that anybody will help me out? No, but it never hurts to ask

I've just started my campaign on Facebook, So far so good, I really like the fact you can target by age group, location and keywords in their profile. Example if they have Entrepreneur in their profile you can target that keyword.. It also gives you a number on how many potential profiles will be viewing your ad with your keyword selection. It does seem a bit pricey depending on what keywords your targeting, I've noticed the bid amount goes up during peak usage times and goes down during slower times of the day. Im thinking of pausing during the peak times and resuming my ads during non-peak times to reduce my PPC/PPM costs. I'm not sure how they determine the bid prices yet. I think I also need to work on my landing page though.. conversions haven't been that great but think its my landing page more than the quality of traffic. I "think" the traffic should be fairly targeted based on the key words i selected.
