I have a list of approximately 4000 websites.
I need to obtain email address from these sites to do direct marketing. What is the best email extractor tool to use?
Also, after I have these email addresses, what program can I use to send email for best results?

I am pleased to tell you that my company, VMA, has released yesterday a beta of an email extractor tool that allows you to extract email addresses from texts and web pages and it is absolutely free and easy to use.

You can also indicate the geographical location and copy and paste the emails extracted to excel or any other spreadsheet program.

It is in a beta stage, so there is an issue with the country selector in IE7, but appart from that, it works just great. It even filter old/out of service email addresses out by performing a DNS lookup. We are pretty proud of it and it is an ongoing proyect. Next release will feature more segmentation options, including tags.
