I have been involved with Internet Marketing for some time now and have tried to find different ways to promote my products. I am always in the learning stage when it comes to marketing. I recently downloaded a wonderful ebook on marketing. It explains the current trend in Internet Marketing and I keep it open on my desktop so that I can refer to it when I fine the need. This ebook is free and you can download it at: http://www.affiliateslikeus.com/Stre...ernetMarketing This reference book has been a textbook for several universities. It will give you a complete education in Internet Marketing.

Basically, virtual advertisement, such as web, email, and online video are the best ways to get to the mass amounts of people. It doesn't cost as much as pure advertisement in the sense of physicality [signs, billboards, commercials, etc.].

I've seen my industry go almost completely online. My niche in the non-profit fundraising arena is now about 90% online 10% off. This has brought about a hyper competitive environment. This has also brought about opportunity for marketing professionals. Finding new ways to bring sites up through the rankings has become a must to survive. In 2010 I expect the services associated with PPC Management and maybe a few new products for the optimization world will be big.

I think that marketing through social networks is huge right now and in the near future it's going to be really big.

Over 200 million recurring daily users of Facebook alone! Websitles like Facebook are great places to advertise on, especially because users only see your advertisement plus at most, one other at the same time. Very cost effective, plus the link can lead people to your business page where they can become a fan and you are now connected with them.

Not to knock anybody, but you really can't ignore wireless mobile marketing.
    - Four times as many cell phones than computers
    - Over a 95% ad read rate
(I could go on but I don't want to sound like a commercial)
Cell phones are so personal an item that people carry them with them wherever they go - even to the bathroom.

Interact with your customers and make them think about your offer by using Text Message Marketing!
