I second the notion regarding good content. Make it unique and make it relevant. Also, try and establish relationships with people and acquire natural backlinks from forums. You can also try and employ the keywords of your business in your posts. If you are not too savvy with site optimization, I strongly suggest looking into SEO services. your first problem is that you are using a hosted blog
other than that, you should make a routine
a daily and weekly routine
i post in forums and on blogs on a daily basis with the link to my blog
depending on the niche, it will be difficult to get to the top(i did not check your niche)
I have one blog that is at the top of google for a few key terms and i have helped a few other guys do the same
i tried to rank for make money online with one blog..but that didnt make sense..lol
you should have a marketing plan in place
for raise in google, post regularly, get quality back links, and it will be nice to get other bloggers to blog about you
