    Advice needed

    Hi guys,

I recently launched DrinkDen.com, selling everything from alcohol to poker accessories, fancy dress to giftware.

I have received a few sales but I was wondering what techniques I could use to promote my site?

    Any ideas?

    thanks in advance

    Hi Kevmacmeh,

Good to speak to you. Great design on the website, makes a change to see a clean, simple well thought out design for a e-commerce website, not a common thing for a startup.

I run Move Ahead Design and offer a range of design, marketing and PR services, primarily to companies that operate online.

I'm happy to give you some advice but I'd need to ask you a few questions first so I can get a feel for you specific circumstances and it's probably best done over a private exchange.

If you send me an email info -at- moveaheaddesign -dot- com or call on 07894 316608 I'll happily give you a call to discuss things.

    Speak soon,
    Andrew Davison

    Hi Kevmacmeh,
Great site and I'm liking the motto "Time is never wasted when you're wasted"! What types of techniques have you used so far to promote the site? Who's your target audience/customer base?

I assume you location is in the UK.
-Have you tried creating a fan page/group on Facebook to spread the word?
    -Twitter?
    -Basic SEO?

    Regards,
    Tenuk

P.S. The Happy Man Bottle Opener is genius! lol

If you have the budget, PPC is great for sales. Paid stumbleupon is cheap. While you do the paid options, it's smart to build your brand via social media.
