well as i am new in the field so i got lot of help from forums, learnt diff techniques an lot more, but what i found is that forums are more helpful in increasing traffic to ur site but the content is the key to hold and capture the attention of visitors

I hear everyone say Facebook and Twitter but in my experience, those engines are only useful when you do two things:

1. You engage with other people.

2. You provide substantial value.

Remember, get involved with a conversation with your target audience and constantly think, "What's In It For ME?" (WIIFM). Essentially, make it about everyone else and what you can do for them.

Zig Ziglar once said, "You Can Only Get What You Want, If You Help Enough Other People Get What They Want." Remember that and you will be wildly successful

I actually get most of my traffic from phone conversations with people, because of the type of business I run, but second most is probably word of mouth traffic.
