What is it that customers really want?

Did you ever stop and think, what is it that customers really want and if I truly knew, what could it do for my business? Quite a few entrepreneurs I know have asked themselves this... And those that actually did something about it grew like crazy. So how do you know?

    - Ask. You'll be surprised what you learn.
    - Conduct a focus group... Take them out to lunch and get them talking.
    - "Live with them" Spend a day working with them and watching them use your product.

I would love to hear what others have to say. And if you want some more information, here's an interesting post on how to understand customer needs and customer wants.

    ASK them & LISTEN..
You got to know your own ideal offering & theirs & see if you guys can match up..
After that, do something EXTRA so that they will be delighted..
Dun create SATISFIED CUSTOMERS, but create RAVING FANS..

Know what is their ideal soft benefits, environment, channel & presentation etc that they want to buy your offerings..

Know how they want to buy & apply that & they will buy..
Do the extra favour for them & they will be CRAZY over you & your business..

When it comes to customers , all you have to do is act as if you wee a customer and see what you would want. Also, you should ask the customes feedback on why they bought you item and what drew them to you. Then when you get the answer capitalize
on his or her liking of what lead them to the purchase.

continue to do that and you will see after testing and testing, with continuous customer surveys, you will see what are your strength and weaknesses.

You gotta put yourself in their perspective. People doesn't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Telling stories with right storyboarding presentation together with PowerPoint presentation is like owning a printing press and printing your own currency.

What works best (and is probably common sense), is to build a business around a target market that you are actually a part of. Obviously there can be a vast differentiation in opinion from within your target market, but this should at least give you a good basis to go off of from the very beginning.

Customers want to know if you care enough to know and bring solutions to their needs and if you take into full consideration the value of their money.

Business undersatnding, quality of service and post-sales(service) support

As i have seen and observed through my years of experience as customer and now as well as
    service provider...some important points are....

    1) customer wants you should understand their business to some extent and should be in a position to
complete the requirement accordingly with out affecting anything which will harm their business as usual thnigs.
    2) Quality of the service at reasonable price with some additional plug-ins like some discounts, free support
    3) I have also observed on thing ..which is post-sales support....if you are prompt in this ...you definetly going to build strong long term relationship as client will be rest assured of the post-service problems.

What customers really want and what will make them loyal to your business and say wonderful things about you to other people are:
    1. Warm and friendly responses - When customers make contact with you face to face or over the telephone, they want a warm response.
    2. They want to feel important - They know that you have lots of other customers and clients but they just love it when you make them feel special.
    3. They want to be listened to - Customers often get the impression that the person dealing with them is not really listening.
    4. Someone to know their name - A persons name is one of the sweetest sounds they'll ever hear
    5. Flexibility - Customers hate to hear the word "No
    6. Recovery - When things go wrong, customers want you to solve their problems quickly
