    Strapline v1.0

I've had an idea for a little mini-competition where we look at a product that's just hitting the market and come up with a decent Strapline /Slogan that could be used to effectively market the product.

First up: The 'Nano', by Tata, the world's cheapest car at about $1,000

    Official Strapline: 'The People's Car'

Well, technically speaking, the tagline you just used actually belongs to VolksWagon... It literally means "People's Carriage", and "car" is an abbreviation of "carriage".

But here we go: Think small. Dream big.

'The People's car' isn't of my making, it's one of tata's own offerings

I like Think small. Dream Big.

    Sounds very Honda

Strapline isn't an unheard of term singaboy, google it. Surprised you know the word monetize but not strapline. This is just a bit of fun mate, bit of a creativity test. If I'd known it would have greeted with such suspicion I would have thought twice about mentioning it.

Not many creative marketeers coming out of the wood work, usually people have lots to say on here but nobody except HarveyJ can come up with a strapline for a new car? Yikes

I didn't mean to say I dont know about Straplines, Grizzly. Maybe your post wasn't that clear to me.

How about "The Common man's car" tagline for Tata Nano. Coz, this is what Tata is trying to do. To sell to common man for whom owning a car is out of his reach...especially in India..
