    so, forum posting...

This is the only forum I don't spam the shizznittle out of =) But I said before we were trying something, and it has to do with forum posting. Happy to say that we've done no other advertising on some of the sites and today, about 1 month after I began, finally hit 500 uniques but the daily average is well over 200. It's not myspace.com traffic, I know, but it's a pretty good start for not laying out a dime.

    depends
erounders gets traffic but not so many hits cuz I haven't added any content yet

mostly nospintalk.com is where I see people browsing 5 or 6 pages on average and instantwii.com is like erounders... no content to hold em, but everyone sees the wii in the name and visits the site.

So I'm actually buying some content for a couple of sites and possibly paying some people to write some for a couple others. Needs to be original though.

How about this... linkbacks and forums and the time.. (NOT one dollar spent) I now have some decent google results.

    salvia nicknames - I'm #3 (for now) on google.com
Salvia legal got me like 10 hits from google.co.uk, but I think it's buried now.
nicknames for Salvia the drug - #1 on google.com

A few others. Anyway, I didn't even expect this article to get as much as the one about eliot spitzer (our governor) taxing crack and coke and marijuana in NY, but apparently salvia is even more popular than I thought. Anyway, it's coming together nicely. nospintalk.com is my shizznittle - did I spell that right

they better, or I'll moderate the shizznittle out of em. =) Kiddin. This site has been helpful to me for about 4 years now, and I've networked with quite a few good people on both business and personal matters. Good place to be.

well, this definately is not a boring site that put's you to sleep like so many other snoozers.

Their is so much talent here that if a guy could harness all the energy and skills and enthusiasm this forum could do some incredible things! lol... but the inhearent problem with that is, entreprenuers are typically individualists... (JMHO) - don't get all worked up and start a war! lol

Who ever started this forum is making moneey frorm it or not? seems to me the inventer of this forum should be cherry picking all the talent and putting them to good use.

anyway, I am impressed with this forum...

What's .tr? turkey right? I have a google result in there for "iran feet" in google.com.tr

Adam, I wasn't here when it started, but I was here for a while. I got soooo many feedbacks when I used to post my "free idea of the day"

It's how you can tell you have that entrepreneur gene. You get new ideas all the time. You can see the concept, the marketing, the usefulness. You wished you had time to do it all, but that's what laborers are for. You just concentrate on the one that impassions you.

Hah.. I have #14 on google for "eliot spitzer drug dealer"

    That's awesome

Wanted to update this, and frugal, I'm sorry I didn't get to it sooner. I've posted to forums all over the net. I've also been using digg alot, which at first I was terribly disappointed with, but one thing I have to say is that not the actual day I post my stories, but days afterwards, I'm seeing traffic coming from other people posting my stuff on forums. sfist.com got me so much traffic it was unbelievable from a post where the guy says "please don't kill us" in regards to an article I put up about scientology's acceptance in Germany and the general scrutiny of them with their ebay abuse and their FDA problems.

So digg, been doing well. Forums, been kind of steady, I guess because there's so much you can post in a day and still have a life and raise 6 kids. Reddit and furl and newsvine, all that stuff, nothing. I mean 1 or 2 uniques a day from each maybe, but nothing substantial.

My post on the video from the queen of Jordan got rave reviews. You can find it on google to see what site its on. or just go to www.nospintalk.com - Home and scroll down to "latest news" to see the video. I posted 2 kinds in two different genres of forum. One that says the queen is super hot (and she is, btw), and one about the statement she was trying to make. Guess which one got more traffic by almost a 20:1 ratio. heh.

Topics have played a big part. What's popular what's not. On nospintalk, a video about dick cheney being caught in a lie has been the most popular. I reset all my hits, because I wanted them to coincide with my traffic analysis software, but it's gotten about 4000 views. It still is listed as number one on the site since resetting it with like 1100 views or so, and they keep coming.

Wrote an article on salvia divinorum, www.nospintalk.com - The Newest Old Drug You Haven't Heard About and got a bunch of views to that early on, most coming from google. Salvia's increase in popularity spurred that. It was found under about 25 different words/phrases.

I haven't spent a lot of time on concentrating on planting the keywords in the actual stories, but I want useful content, that people like, not that search engines like. I may do a few stories on NST and VBH (my project with collegeburnout) and see if it helps any. I still would prefer to have more valuable content than catering to a search engine robot.

Haven't posted much in forums lately. Been kind of waiting on replies to posts I've made. Otherwise I have so much going on it's almost impossible to keep up with. Now I'm going to go post in here on digg preferences and you should check that out. We can help each other get traffic.
