Some background, close to setting up a small bistro type restaurant in N.E. England. It will specialise in sandwiches and also sell stone baked pizza, grilled burgers and pasta, using a combination of improved quality at a (typically) less than proportionate increase in cost as the main comp. advantage against other local food outlets.
Basically, I need help coming up with/ improving methods to market the new shop. At the moment, we are thinking of using typical sign post and flyer advertising in the street.
Part of the target market is local businesses, providing delivered lunches/ takeway food for them - a call centre of 100 people is opening in the street soon which is great! What approach would people recommend to approach such businesses?
*Would cold calling the businesses be an effective route? Perhaps incorporating free trials offer of food or trial buffet/ samples during working hours? Alternatively, could just deliver
