Recruitment and marketing...

Hey guys,

So I started my first recruitment job about 5 months ago... It has been going fantastic and I seem to have a good grip on networking etc. My firm is fantastic as they are not a large corporation that has the "agency stigma" attached to them and where we run in a more boutique and policy driven environment.

Now I know recruitment is all about people and treating candidates and clients with the up most respect. In the last 5 months that I've been there, I have strive to have a positive effect no matter what the outcome of the situation was. I believe with my diligence in keeping connected with both clients and candidates regularly I have started to see many referrals coming my way.

Aside from doing this... how can I market myself better and be more well known quicker. I have been getting referrals on both the candidate side AND client side (only after 5 months within this industry).

I want to definitely keep up with my people management abilities but at the same time my firm allows us to really be our own entrepreneurs and be us who represents the firm.

Any suggestions of ways that I can market myself while continuing to give good service to my current candidates and clients would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi everybody,

You have to make sure you successfully target the customers in your area of sales. As the competition is very fierce in the internet market, there are many choices for the customers from which they have to choose from.

There is a chance for yours being skipped over if your sales tactics aren’t the best. You have to study the minds of the customers very thoroughly. It is better you seek the intimate knowledge of the people you wish to sell your products.

Also important are the internet marketing tools and resources.

Hi Lissa
That's great to hear that your recruitment job is going on well. What i suggest you to improve your business more is to write more information about your website.

Welcome to the world of the recruiter!

I have been looking into moving my company in a new direction- also in recruiting. I have been focusing more on unskilled labor, and this seems to have been going pretty well. The demand for unskilled labor has only been increasing in the U.S., and the availability of workers has been going up, as well.

If you need help bringing in any international workers, let me know. I am also part of a company that deals directly with immigration-related needs for workers and business owners.
