    Pump Out Small Websites Quickly

This whole Idea of having thousands of small/mini websites sounds kind of interesting..

    Did a bit of research..
Seems to be based around mass producing miniature websites quickly, and earning petty revenue from each one. Ex.. If you create 500 mini sites that all earn 1 dollar a day.. then you would earn 500$ a day? Don't know how legitimate this is.. but I stumbled onto it and thought it might spark someones interest as it did mine. Would love to hear any ones opinion, or if anyone has tried this technique.

Found a blog that had some interesting info on the subject.

    Thanks.

    Depends on quality

I believe in having a network of mini websites that make money for you.

The part I don't agree with is creating 500 crappy websites that will eat up your time and money.

I personally rather own 5 or 50 small websites and try to keep them decent as much as I can, for both the search engines and the users.

I think the best way to achieve this is building one at a time. I am sure it will get to the point where you will need to hire someone to help you make more money every time.

So what your saying basically revolves around the same method.. you just put a little more time into each site. I would have to agree, you can use this method, you just have to know that quality trumps quantity. but combine both and you will have success.
    thanks for your input ros

Agree! This is better than 500 crappy websites. And by the way, making even $1 per day from a site is not as easy as it sounds.

I however, will bet on a single big website and when it grows, build network around it.

From my time in web design (6 years) i can vouch for what these guys are saying. It's quality of sites that brings in the cash.

And if you do need any help with your web design/construction, hit me with a message.

Yeah, I believe I will try this method, and put in some serious time to my sites.

target proper keywords and then scale it up... rinse and repeat... there is no reason why you can't have 500 websites making 500 a day

On the other hand 500 crappy mini sities will attract a wider audience than 50 good sites, also good sities generaly have "sticky" content so the visitor does not want to click an advert to leave the site....so good quality websities do not always generate money.

Although, some people may trust a good looking site more than one that looks thrown together

I'm in the process of getting up and running. I've been dabbling around for about a year now. Just haven't jumped in to it yet if you know what I mean?

I like all the input, its all good stuff... '

Although, at this point it sounds like it's almost hit or miss. It really sounds like it comes down to the type of person viewing your websites. Maybe a good approach would be to build say around 25-50 good quality websites, then link to another 150-300 mini sites of which less time was spent working on.
    ??

    Thanks

Why does trust matter on a mini site?
for example displaymyip.info is a simple site, does it matter if it looks good or not? The idea is people are attrcated to it via key words, they visit the site, see an ad and leave.

Trust has nothing to do with revenue earning sities.

They come, they click an ad, they leave and I make $$$

yeah I agree with cru joO you don't really need the trust so much if you are just looking for someone to click some ads. Though, if you are trying to sell a product then I do think trust could come into play.

Yes that is what I was thinking.

It is quite easy to make $1 a day from a blog , that you know quite a bit about.

But I don't know a lot about 500 things , that will stand out from the crowd.

In essence it is a nice idea - but in practice I don't think it will work.
