Niche Market Research for Newbies!

Ok, I truly hope that this gets many newbies to learn how to do their niche research properly so they can have profitable campaigns. I hate seeing the niche as weight loss, it is not a niche at all

Selecting a Broad Market First

You will not need a computer for the first step You need now a piece of paper and a pen. You need to look within your self to see what you are good at. I don't know you so it is hard to say, BUT, maybe you are good at building muscle, weight loss, parenting, website design, PHP coding, software developer, etc.

Keep this in mind, if you can do a good job with you list, you will have at least 5 possible broad markets to get into. Don't worry we will narrow them down!

Now close off the internet and just concentrate on writing things you are good at! Once you are done continue reading!

Narrow a Niche

So by looking at the broad market we need to see if there is the narrow niche market we can get into.

I will assume here you have selected your broad market as the website design. You will need to go to niche forums to see what they need. "web design+ forum", you can even look at the affiliate forums and see what issues they have!

Now I just scanned few of them and realized that there are few things discussed a lot:

"Squeeze Page that convert HIGH"
"Stand out Graphics for Headers"

These are all major issues for this group of people. Now, I just looked at the clickbank to see if there are any products selling in this industry. And I found plenty of the products people are spending money on it!

Setting Up Landing Page

Now if you do not know what your landing page needs to be, lets look at it it this way. If you were searching for something, what would you like to find when you click the link? You want the solution. So your landing page has to be solution to the problems!

You can create as squeeze page or the sales page. Now if this was my niche, I would offer those visitors 5 high converting squeeze page templates for free. And I would later offer either my services, or some products they would be interested in. OR if it was a sales page, it would be a custom made websites service, or a review of top 3 costume made website service providers!

Niche research is not hard, you just need to know what your people want, and you need to know how to monetize it.

I truly hope this helps and saves you time!

Alex
