the gap between the company name (E-Waste of middle tn) is quite big. You should reduce it so that users dont have to scroll down to view the content.

The website also hasn't been optimized for Search Engines. (using images instead of text is not a good idea as search engines can't read images)

If your primary marketing tool is your website, then you should seriously consider getting a professional to develop it for you. As it is its quite a generic looking website, doesn't really stand out. Hope you are not offended.

It's a great start to a site- but it could use a lot of tweaking in order to bring you the most ROI.

I specialize in analyzing web sites for usability, functionality, and ease of use for visitors for a small fee. Let me know if you would like me to help you in any way. If you're interested in one of these evaluations, I can provide you with a sample and pricing.

    Good Luck!

I am not offended, I have only built one site before that never went to web, and am really not responsible for this one as it is all my partners job (although I did get the host which is vistaprint), which is why I need honest opinions. It's mainly going to be for my clients to find out more info on our company, as I am really doing alot of face to face work to get the biz off the ground and get my contracts. EMD5005, how much would you charge me? understand it may be a few weeks down the road. I also am fortunate to live in an area where most businesses don't even have websites of their own. so please keep the ideas on it coming.

Here's my opinion, I'm glad you have attempted to build yourself. I see you have used a template system, which is not a problem, but try to choose some better colors. Like you have a red and black (which I like, I use it on my site actually), but for recycling, I would definitely go with green.

I think your navigation text should be larger and it looks like you have used a lot of stock photography. Try to focus more on the information.

Overall, it looks like you have a good idea going for you.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you profit from your services if you only donate and don't sell any working computers?

The price I would charge for the evaluation would vary depending on any different, "extras" you would like me to provide.

If you private message me your email I can send you an email to let you know my fees for the different extras, as well as a sample of what I will provide you- an in-depth web site evaluation with very specific instructions for what you can do to improve your conversion and usability.

the profit will be in recycling and selling the nonworking items (we hope), and we also take in televisions and other electronics, which we intend to have a shop and sell to people who cannot afford to go and buy new. You would be amazed at how many working t.v.s are discarded everyday because people went and got new ones b/c of the h/d changeover, not knowing that if they have satellite or cable and they get a picture now, they will after the change.

    Good luck with that.

Im doing the same in Australia. A little different

Working exporting containers of CRT monitors and systems for recycling in Malaysia.
Have found a buyer, but getting a warehouse soon to house the containers.

Oh, and also the site sucks. If i saw that I doubt the service would interest me very much at all.

Have you had and leads/deals because of it?

WHY, OH WHY do you have an affiliate link at the bottom of your site? If you are serious about this, why? Sorry but thats just bad. What do you have to recycle ewaste. How do you recycle it.

I have removed the link, ty for letting me know about it (also after investigating the product...it needed removed anyway as it was a scam). My buyers are in the U.S. which hold the epa standards ($25,000 fine per day); they do not ship to countries such as Malaysia due to lacking environmental standards there. We do not do anything to jeopardize our safety or our workers safety, so we ship to others with the needed equipment to fully dismantle monitors. the rest we can break down and separate ourselves for maximum profit and ship. does this answer help you?

Yeah, The problem Im having right now is finding a suitable buyer who does do it to environmental standards. The Aussie guys are just too expensive.

I must say it does seem a little "old" as far as the design goes. Do a google search and get yourself a premium theme wordpress theme.
Also since you have a recycling business I highly suggest starting a newsletter that allows you to build a database of subscribers and get them on a "drip" campaign that sends them valuable information about recycling and "going green". Just a few thoughts....
