leave them somewhere where people will see them, and take one if they are interested.

take a step back for a moment and look at where u just came to get answers for your question...

    the internet..

old school marketing tactics like flyers are not effective.

the key is to have people search out you and your content and your offer. Be somewhere where they are searching where they are looking for answers and be there to fufill that need , that desire for information.

You need to get on the search engines. and no its not that hard, its going to take soem learning, but the internet is the future, its the fastest growing commodity in the world.

No one goes to the yellow pages anymore, they go online. Learning to market online is a MUST for any business that plans on being successful in this day and age, weather u out source or learn the skills for yourself it is a must.

    Hi,

Because of the electronic media, fliers are losing their influence on people.
I think you should put the words in the fliers more interestingly and concisely.

Ask some businesses if they would let you leave your flyer in their building. Also, try to set up some sort of exchange with these businesses. You will do something for them, if they can hold your flyer in return. See if you can go door to door to pass out the flyers as well. Maybe make a brochure.

I wish I could help you more. I had the surgery last year, and since then I have lost all sense of smell in my nose. I had bad sinus infections and allergies before, but after the surgery they got worse, and it's HARDER for me to breath now. But really, it all depends on the person. It is EXTREMELY painful, but they give you good painkillers! I would have a consultation with the doctor.

I had great success with flyers earlier this year that I managed end-to-end for a local retail business. The ROI was about 43%, which in my opinion was worth it!

Note that the flyers were very targeted, however, to the needs of one specific neighborhood.

Given their relatively low cost compared to other advertising mediums - I'd say go full steam at the fliers.

That being said, keep in mind that fliers, like direct-marketing, often yield better results with consistency. Target an area and hit it once a month for several months in a row. Consistency is what ropes in a lot of people (you either happen to catch them when they need your product or service, or they feel that your consistency indicates some sort of stability or professionalism.)

    Good luck.

There is no specific return you will get from flyers. It all depends on what you are marketing, who you are targeting, the neighborhood, where you are placing the ads, and even the design. Its not a simple black and white.

If you start placing flyers on car windshields at a supermarket, for your mobile tax business, I doubt you'd get a good return. But if you targeted areas of business, industrial centers, and distributed your flyers there, the return should be greater.

Similarly if your flyer looks unprofessional, you may lose potential clients, who might hesitate to trust you with their taxes.

All forms of advertising are worth it if they are done properly. Do your research.

I would say if you get a 2%-4% response rate it's considered pretty good. I agree try using Social Media for your promo, but do not shy away from your flyer idea ... it all depends on your budget and your marketing skills/resources I guess.

    Good luck!

The effectiveness of marketing and sales tools will depends on your business, your business offerings and your targetted market...

On one hand, flyers distribution might work well and create massive results THAN internet marketing for a particular business under a particular situation...
Likewise, internet marketing might work well and create massive results THAN flyers distribution for a particular business under a particular situation...

    Firstly, ask yourself these....
Do you know what is your business offerings and your targetted customers and their concerns????
How much do you know about these????
