Marketing Nigh Life Clubs/Bars

I am going to be launching a site in June with a great product that will attract nightlife. How would you seasoned vets go about marketing and getting the attention of these bars and clubs in the Los Angeles to San Diego area? Your advice will be greatly appreciated...Thank you

Arrange a meeting with the nightclub owners could help or maybe put an ad in the newspaper or on the websites they look at.

This is a tough market to crack. With all marketing you've got to be positioned where your audience's eyeballs are but the oversaturation here is high. It's better to attract an audience of club-goers, people who will spend the money and then present that going forward.

Target one section of your market. Eg. one genre of music and the people who listen/party to that genre.
