    Hello David

First of all, fantastic looking site. the only thing i may suggest is that you think about differentiating your news from your recent forum posts on your homepage. Either by changing the colour/font of the text or by changing the colour that backgrounds the text...in much the same way that has been used on this very site. It removes the illusion of clutteredness. Also might i suggest you move your welcome note to the upper half of your homepage. It emphasises the fact that you are creating a community for expecting mothers to come, meet and be informed on relevant information. This way there are no misconceptions regarding what you both are all about. AFTER ALL HONESTY WINS TRUST IN ALL ASPECTS OF BUSINESS...or life for that matter.

Ok, before you consider email marketing and look for mailing lists there are some other options you should consider.

1). Network with some relevant bloggers within the new mother or expecting mother demographics and see if they would be willing to write about and link to your site in return for you either allowing them to supply some website content to you or from a banner share arrangement. People tend to trust the links posted by bloggers because they all so invite trust to a certain extent. Especially those people who are regular readers.

    2. Also, don't rule out doing so local advertising within your area. Seekout some support networks and councilling services and as them if you can place some posters on noticeboards or whether they would be willing to supply people with pamphlets regarding your service.

    3. It could be benefitial to develop a quick questionairre for your current members, focusing on where they frequent and what information sources they find most useful. Once you've established these areas, get in there however you can.

Hopefully i have sparked your creativity for you,

    JB

Hello Jb thanks for the reply, I will have ago at editing it, our current software has a few minor glitches which will not allow us to Edit the text colour for some stupid reason, also me and my partner have put Leaflets into Public Libraries, and Doctors, Not much response from locally but we have advertised on our competitors website and had around 20 people join from around the UK.

I will contact some bloggers, if I can find any and see if I can arrange something.

Do you have a personal email address so I can keep in Contact, I have a few other things in the process of setting up and would like to discuss a few things in private, my email address is: djansell@msn.com give me an email or post yours and ill contact you

    Thanks Alot
