Looking for some help on online networking/marketing

Hi, my name is Jared Friedman and I could use some pointers. I spent the summer interning for Oak Investment Group/Oak Financials here in Chicago and they recently hired me. I will be taking the series 3 test in a few months and was hoping i could get some help on networking with possible investors to trade Managed Futures so that I can grow and move up in the company and make some real money. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if anyone who is looking to invest, or knows of people looking to invest I would be more than happy to hear from you. Thanks so much.

As a former commodities broker here's my advice: Dont look too far ahead, you need to start off like every other broker opening accounts. Get some experience under your belt and then go for the bigger clients. The easiest way to get clients is referrals. So, make your clients money and you'll get all their friends.

Why are you waiting to take your test?

One way to get referrals is to maintain the value of a website through helpful and relevant content, rich resources or connections plus good relationships to its readers. This start can be effective as there can be a lot more points when there are avid followers coming right ahead.

This honestly takes a lot of time and for that in my experience I can say that it's been all the hard work sending promotions to different networks all by myself and decided to seek help. Thankfully a blogger sent me an email with this website How To Outsource Your Internet Business - Why You Should Outsource Your Work | Mass Outsource which I found a lot helpful for outsourcing my business.

By checking that out, you can see that this Australian guy actually gives free access to his videos, all easy to understand and inspiring to entrepreneurs.

I hope this can bring another inspiration.

I'm waiting to take the test because I'm still going to school full time and am only working a handful of hours a week at the moment, during my winter break inbetween semesters I am going to be working and learning for 4-5 days a week, also my boss doesnt want me worrying about the test and studying just yet, he is trying to get me to do some other stuff first i guess. And I'm not personally trying to look ahead and make these connections for my self, I'm trying to help do some of this online networking for my boss while he is over at the Mercantile Exchange on the floor, Im supposed to be finding some high net-worth people that my boss wants to create an event and invite them to. Im still figuring out what Im doing each day, since this is only my third day in the office now. Thanks alot for the tips though, really appreciate you taking your time to help me.
