I am here for your mocking delight.....

Ok, so I have a small local service business and recently built a crappy website to help advertise it that I am working on revamping. I was reading here about social bookmarking and everyone seems to think it is just great so I read the wiki article about it and joined delicious dot com and entered my url there and a description.

Is that all I have to do? Maybe get some friends to also add me? Will this help with page rank and local map results? Please tell me if this is good and positive.

I plan on doing some of the other social bookmark sites and have made the rounds to industry related blogs with the links in the signature, etc, and am working on other good links as well.

I suggest mastering any 3 marketing method that you fell comfortable using. Whether social, ezine, article submission, forum marketing or even offline drop cards.

I suggest reading up on each one and using them effectively.

Lol, I just want to get it done right. If I have to work from 6 A.M until midnight every night, I will. A couple of months ago I really only knew a little about computers and the internet, but I've read and studied for hundreds of hours now and am just trying to get through the first round. There's just so much. I took a break from another project to work on this. Hahahaha, I took a break by working.

If I ever figure all this out I'm going to write a book so the next poor schlubb can have a handy reference that isn't 90% longer than it should be. Right after I write a book about mixed drinks that only has good drinks in it, easy to find ingredients, and less than 20 recipes to pick from.

My company provide website development and upgrade services for customers on shoe string budgets if your interested (between 50-100 pounds for upgrading). I could do you a special deal if we can discuss what needs doing on the site etc.. Aswell as being highly ranked, to maximize on custom your site has to be easy on the eye, and enjoyable to surf.

    Good luck
