How to market a free webhost??? Advice Please

I own FatFreeHost.com and would like to market it and create more traffic and more uniques per month. Currently it is growing by about 40 signups a day and I have 2500 clients but I made it my goal to get 5000 by years end and 10,000 total by march so I really need to step it up. Help and advice is appreciated. Also, take a look at my site and tell me what you think and how I can improve it.

My target market is young men 18-24 with little html experience. I offer a free hosting service that dosent have ads and is quite easy to use. I am helping people who want to create a webpage do it for free without having to pay for hosting.

Why not advertise it to craigslist or other ad sites. Good luck!

well again it is free, it allows users ample freedom in their design with a nice back end for a user admin area. It does not use any ads on their pages like many other free hosts.

what are the most common reasons for why do people make websites using your service? to promote their business? to keep in touch with friends? to store their photos? if you can identify the problem that your product is solving, I'll be able to communicate to you the options that you have for meeting your sales target

most seem to be trying to create some sort of ebusiness. a few do use it to store photos on simple sites.

I think you should tweak your website color.Use more attractive color such as blend with orange or red color.The first impression is key to attract repeaters visitor.

The most important things is you should be patient and keep update new features to your website and be unique.

It only a opinion from me.

Post to target groups at myspace,facebook etc. Takes a few hours and some work,but it is effective. It is one way to reach thousands in a very short time.Just make sure it is an active group with frequent posts.Good luck

I think you have a great site there. I think running a contest will do a lot of good for you. And if the winner is referred by your current user base, they get a upgraded account! Just a off hand idea. Get people to start hosting on your site as a condition for your contest.

Try writing articles. You get tons of people to your website using this, and your articles can dominate your keyword and get you onto the first page of google.

And use Social Bookmarking. It's a great way to get a higher page ranking for free from more than 10 sites with pr 4-5+

Try using squidoo.com as well. Great place, and google gives high page rankings to it, and it's free.

And also use other free ad hosting services such as usafreeads and salespider.
