How to increase sells of toys?
Hello. I have online store where I sell different stuff from Simpsons, Futurama, South Park. I posted link to my site on different tematic forums, women forums (as presents for children). Maybe you give me some more ideas how to increase sells?

I`m not allowed to post URLs yet here. Traffic on site is good. Problem is how to make people to spend money on that stuff. People like it but don`t want to have deal with online stores and spend money on things which don`t have practical application.

Sounds like you need to give a good reason as to why they should buy your stuff! "Words Sell". Learn about copywriting for an ecommerce site.

The toy industry (retail) is tough. My company manufacturers action figures, statues and busts for cartoon, video game and pop culture licenses. If you want any hints or tips feel free to PM me and I'll help you all I can.

You might want to include sci-fi & comic book forums also. Not to be overly general but these people are collectors and see value in doing so. They are the type of people who would spend money.

If they once bought, it's easy to buy something again (if they liked the product). So you may try to use email newsletters to introduce new products to your customers?

Yeah, whoever said the retail toy industry is tough is right on! I have marketed two board games from the old days of pre-electronics. I also had the mascot doll for several years for a major university.
You might want to search through Social Network sites and see what others are saying about toys. Also see what is hot at Ebay.
VERY fickle market!

For starters put your url in your signature file.
Also post threads in forums with the title of your toys in thread title,as these do get picked up by google in searches, other than that just advertise. It's not rocket science just get eyeballs in front of your product anyway you can.
T shirts with your web addy on them, flyers ads in local newspapers, magazines
remember the internet is not the be all and end all of marketing.
