Exclamation Help ...

Hi everyone, Julie here.

I'm not very familiar with email ads, i recently bought 1000 email ads, from taketheinternetback.com and paid $15 for that and I got about 470 visits from them in about one week. I did sell more ebooks (my online business), but I paid for 1000 emails and sincerely, was expecting to get at least 70%, so I'm not too keen about this program. Do you know websites that provide better results? I got to the website by searching for opt-in email advertising on google, I heard that 'opt-in' is necessary otherwise my emails will be considered spam.

Thank you and I'm waiting for your replies.

I can't believe you got 470 visits just from them. That seems way higher than average even in a severely targeted list. 47% ctr on email ads? that's just unheard of. Statistically you should have gotten about 4.7 out of 1000 =) you should be really happy if that was your return. 470 visits for $15 is $0.03 per visit.

I completely agree. Especially for a purchased list. I remember a company I worked with got 14% on a cold email blast and people were shocked! The normal CTR is like 1-2% if I remember correctly.

That seems like a decent result to me.

That is a return that most people would pay a large sum of money for. You got a deal.

Best,

I think what you should re-think is how you could convert that 470 visit into actual sales. I agree with the other posters that you got quite a deal and result from your email list. Evaluate your website and see how you can improve on sales conversion.

Honey, you must have one HECK of a list there! I have in the Internet Marketing business for over 8 years and Direct Marketing for over 30 and those percentages are off the charts! You are darn lucky to get 2-3% response from email marketing.

I would LOVE to know which list you used?

Also what is your product? It could be you have hit on a product that is the Holy Grail of Marketing.

LOVE to see your ad copy you wrote too.

Buying lists I'm affraid is a waste of good money.
Unless of course they are fresh lists, but until you can verify that they are stay away.
