yes, it reminds me of the million dollar pixil idea. A boy from the uk sold 1,000,000 pixils for a dollar each on a image based web page. He sold all the pixels, made a million dollars and now works for a multi-million dollar programming firm.

Here is an interesting thing to think about, for every $1 link you sell paypal will take 33 cents. soo theoretically if you sold all one million links paypal could end up with 1/3 of the profit. I am not sure if there is a better way to accept payment, but just food for thought

I don't understand why this link would be worth $1 - from either an SE O or a marketing standpoint.

The million pixel page was awesome.

its not, but im sure a lot of people including myself would say why not spend $1 for the possibility that the site "takes off"

I guess... I just don't understand why anyone would ever visit a site with no real content and a massive, unordered, uncategorized list of links. Direct marketing value, zero. SEO value, zero (almost 1500 outbound links on a page with no incoming links at all). I know it's only $1, but we can't all give $1 to everyone who asks.

The million pixel page was successful because it was a fresh twist on an old idea, and because it looked cool.

I'm thinking of better ways to bring in visits to the page... and when i get a good idea, it'll be worth it to the people who decided to take a leap of faith and got their links on top.

Ooooo, so he'll end up with only $670,000. Stupid PayPal. Just kidding, I think this could be a good idea if he markets it right. Good luck.
