Wink Get all the traffic you want

    Folks

I'm in it now for a while and would like to help you guys with something I had a while to understand.

Traffic is what we all want, OK, so far we are clear. Getting traffic is the problem.

So we have to get YOUR website into the Traffic Flow, right. And that's really all what you have to do.

Traffic already exists, it's there, you don't have to invent it. The only thing you need to understand is :
How do I build a website that gets into that traffic flow. And this is done over,
    drum-rolls - the right KEYWORDS.

If you build a site and don't take the keyword into consideration you will "try" to get traffic without success. You will never make it - believe me. You will NOT get free traffic from Google as your site is not appearing on the front page in front of the buyers from what you offer, and you even will have problems to BUY traffic from Adwords or similar as Google will charge you WAY TOO much because your site is not well done, not relevant and optimized.

So start correctly with - Research - for your Keywords, then research your competitors to see how good they are and how they have made the site, spy on them.

Let me give you an example : If you are making a site for your familys business, let's say "Tables inc.", which is producing billiard tables, then don't build a one page site based on your company name. That's what most small biz owners do and then wonder why they are not selling anything Online.

Research over a keyword tool what people are already searching about tables and you will see that almost 2000 people search daily for the word "pool tables", and 1000 for "pool table" and so on. You have to take those results into consideration when you build your Website, this is extremely important to be able to link your website into the existing traffic flow.

Keywords are as well important to write Articles for, which then link to your Website, after this one in Online. But Link building is a totally different topic, not less important, I can post at a other day.

Those tips are just some small details from the whole Internet Marketing puzzle you "should" know about.

    Hope this helps a little.

I think those traffic exchange websites are a waste, as people are clicking to gain points not if there interested

Star using the social networking sites, this a great free way to build traffic. Start by going to Squidoo and build a lens , don't worry they have a step by step procedure to follow, then go to Hubpages and build a hub , you will see how this can help once you get there, then you should get involved in sites like StumbleUpon, MySpace, Facebook, and start building friends that you can turn into customers, oh by the way all of these sites are free.

Traffic is important, but quality traffic probably more important.

The topic of traffic exchange programs has come up several times on this and other forums. The following information is based on my own personal experience and investigation into several of the top traffic exchange programs.

Traffic Exchange Programs (also known as Start Page Rotators) are free for the most part. To be sure, you'll receive plenty of traffic, but converting that traffic into sales is an entirely different matter altogether. Here's why:

    1. There is much more competition for traffic exchange programs today than there was just a few short years ago. As a result, many new companies have joined the mix meaning that any one traffic exchange program has fewer page views to offer.

    2. Many webmasters are members of several traffic exchange programs, meaning they are seeing the same ads over and over again across the board--thus diluting the overall effectiveness of the programs.

    3. Many people have pop-up blocking on their sites making it increasingly difficult to harvest email addresses using that method.

    4. Cheating is very common. Many unscrupulous individuals use software to open hundreds of start pages each day in a variety of traffic exchange programs. Since no one sees the pages, no one buys the products. Also, many individuals sign up for multiple accounts making each page view much less valuable.

In my opinion, because of overall saturation, rampant cheating and poor conversion ratios, traffic exchange programs just aren't worth the effort.
