Get alexa rank up and draw people to sign up for free social network?

Hi I own AddStarr.com its only been up for about 4 weeks, trying to boost up the traffic, i have about 30 members that signed up and about 25 of them I have no clue how they found my site. And it also seams that many chinese people are signing up, not sure why. But i have a new script platform being made right now because I hate the current one, But it is better then myspace and any other script platform. Anyhow Just wanted to get peoples advise. I am also willing to spend money. Next week adbrite/adwords banners get put out there. But any other ways to help more people draw to the site and alexa rank would be great. Right now the alexa rank is 1.9million but it was 20million 4 weeks ago. Thanks - Josh

If you can accomodate many chinese people and english speaking communities to sign up, it will boost your web rank.

First of all your Alexa ranking does not matter at all. Alexa not very accurate, you should try out a service like quantcast.com.

As far as driving traffic to your website, i recommend Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC) and Offline Media advertising to start.
