I use Chili Sales for all my email marketing. It's not only easy to send out personalized mass emails, but it also helps me keep track of my customers' preferences to find out who my most satisfied customers are. I can then use that positive relationship with them to help generate more referrals. I find that a satisfied customer is really my best (and least expensive) form of marketing. I think that should really be the point of email marketing campaigns.

Agreed. Email marketing that's sent to only individuals who actually want to hear from you not only respects their privacy, but also makes business sense. Potential customers who have opted in are much higher quality leads anyway.

I think the content for email marketing is works well for announcements of new products, new features, sales, etc.

What doesn't make sense is newsletters. Long form content is much better suited for blogs. Why?

    1. Your content will be indexed by search engines
    2. Which means your site's search rankings will benefit from the content
    3. And extremely specific search queries relevant to your post will drive organic search traffic to your site.

I would stay away from these. I have had my old company, a recording company, blacklisted from one email blast. I would put a newsletter sign up on your website and get it to people that actually want to hear from you. Most of the people on these lists are inactive emails anyways.. sign up for campaign monitor and get a real database of people that could give you business

I've been using email marketing since from year now. Its a great way to find potential customers. if it is done in correct manner (not in SPAM way), it can create wonders. But the content should be informative. I'd prefer building our own email list for email marketing. I'm using a online business directory to get contact information of targeted audience.

Is there a way to import a list on sendn? Are you partnered with any of the isp's to prevent being blacklisted?

    Thumbs up Effective email marketing

There is no question about the effectiveness of email marketing. I have been a data broker for over 5 years now, and seen many many success stories firsthand. Proper email marketing has brought companies and websites up over-night. However, you can't expect success from harvested lists or lists that are sold as collections on CDs from Ebay or other "discount" places... First, make sure it's REAL OPTIN DATA... for instance, we have REAL OPTIN DATA... Look at the samples available through our site. You can tell the difference from the many fields that compose each record.

If you're going to do email marketing, do it right. Use real optin data and a good mailing solution, and remember the only way to remain compliant is to follow the rules; the most important being the use of quality optin lists. If you need low-cost email marketing data to boost your advertising, check out the selection available at: data4marketers dot com

We are running many specials right now. Just contact us through our many contact methods, and we'll be glad to get you out a sample of some targeted data that will work for you!

    Happy marketing to all!

    Thanks,
