Question B2B Marketing Advice

I am an employee of a privately-owned communications and writing services provider located in and serving the Edmonton, Alberta region.

We found out this morning that one of our clients will be pulling out due to the state of our clients market (forestry), meaning the termination of one of the writers in two weeks.

I am looking for advice in how best to market our communications/writing company B2B immediatly in order to attract some more work, and fast, to keep the company afloat and my job! Information such as what companies may need writing/communication services most and the best ways to reach them would be much helpful. Thanks!

Note: please see below for more details, and feel free to ask
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a total of 4 employees currently working here:
1. The principal (writer/editor/communications advisor)
2. writer
3. writer
4. myself (marketing/communications advisor).

We produce two industry specific magazines (forestry), which account for all of the two writers' work. Myself and the president provide communication planning, development, and co-ordination work:
- annual reports, trade show displays, communications/market strategy plans, brochures, minor website work, etc.

We sub-contract out any design work to a designer at a great price and have a small number of suppliers for production.

It appears that our real strengths lie in writing communications materials.
