Am I Doing ok with my hits for a new blog?

I started a blog, My Business Credit Journey to $1,000,000: Learn How to Build Business Credit for FREE and its about 6 weeks old and I am now up to 50 unique hits a day steadily... is that good for a 6 week old blog? I just exchange links with one or 2 blogs, but it in my signature and i see that i am getting some decent hits from google..
i am second for t key phrase "net30 accounts" last time i checked...

i will like to know how am i doing and what other things i can do to add qualiyt hits....

that net30 account keyterm is probably a long tail keyword that wasn't very hard to land. If you market it you can pretty much get that traffic pretty steadily. The site has only been up for 6 weeks .... its mainstream and it does take time. You should try and get 1-2 backlinks a day, submit to directories, and pick some great terms for google. 60 uniques a day is fine ... but it could be better.

thats great to hear for a start-up blog. Just improve your keywords and keep promoting it.

That's actually pretty impressive, I've just recently launched a blog myself, and would be more than happy if I had your results after 6 weeks.

How do you market it? SEO, Adwords, Social Bookmarking and all that jazz?

If your not already using google analytics on your blog, I would suggest adding the code to keep track of what your visitors are doing.... what percentage of readers are repeat visitors, how long are new visitors staying on your site etc...

Also, extend your domain name registration out for five years if you can... I've done it to a few of my sites and it looks like google adds a bit more weight to your search results for it... rumor is that they figure your sites not a fly by night if your willing to spit the bill for five or more years of domain registration.
