I've read some of Donald's books also, and also Robert T. Kiyosaki.

I'm not a fan of Donald Trump. He inherited a great deal of money, so its not like he came from nowhere and made it on his own. He's also nearly gone bankrupt before. He makes it seem like hes a self made man when it really isn't the case.

This is not true. He made alot of money before his father died. And also, how could you not like a story of a man who almost goes bankrupt, and then makes millions all over again.

I was at a Learning Annex event in Dallas, in which Donald spoke. I love his quote about "thinking big". Also, I have read alot of Kiyosaki's books, and they are what motivated me to become financially independent, and taught me all about cash flows.
I find myself moving away from the inspirational type books, and towards more technical books that will help me accomplish my goals. But I do intend on reading some of Trumps books in the future.

Why We Want you to Be Rich is an interesting tale. While I agree that playing on fear is not always the most effective, it IS good to have a resource like this floating around. Alot of folks really don't understand the game of business, and what their role can truly be. Trump and Kiyosaki are basically saying, if you don't take action, you are letting others control your destiny. At least to some degree. One of the things I give seminars on is simply becoming an entrepreneur. The tax implications of starting your own business can be fantastic. Not to mention the extra money you can make. Too many simply rely on their J.O.B. to get them where they want to go, and you know what? Alot of times, it just doesn't happen.
Anyways, Why We Want You to be Rich is my favorite Trump book. I think he is great. I don't share his philosophies on revenge and such, because I believe that charma does its thing good enough for me (ok, sorry for the EARL reference...lol)

Hey there,
I used to live in Ardmore, so firstly I wanted to say howdy!
Secondly, you said you are moving away from motivational books...I am assuming that is because you are (at this point) self motivated? If that is the case, are you helping to motivate others proactively through public speaking, writing, etc? Just wondering, have a great night!
