I like bill gates, as he teaches every businessman that sometimes the nice guy finishes last in business. You have to crush the competition, and make sure you get mindshare in the market. He occupies an unrivalled position in the OS market, because he knows what it takes to succeed, its sometimes ugly but it needs to be done. People are too lazy to change OS, now and most computers cant come without windows.

Aye. There's still space and opportunity to conquer a nice share in the OS market. Most are too afraid to realise. Microsoft's early stages are still as much a reflection to any other company as it was to itself 30 years ago, most of the giants have just become a little bit more comfortable (and perhaps too comfortable).

Bill Gates is a big influence in the IT and computer industry. He inspired and give us lesson on how to be successful on our chosen field.

Bill Gates is one of my favourite people for a number of reasons. Firstly he had a vision and devoted his time to make it become what it is today. Also because he never intened to become as ritch as he is today but he got there because he has a passion for what he does and for the future of technology.
