Your web host?

I am curios to know who you all use to host your websites and why. This will be a great resource to help find the right host for any web business.

Thanks!

I use Host Gator. I like their cheap, reliable service. I've had them for over a year and I have had no problems.

I second Hostgator also. I've also had hosting with GoDaddy. I haven't had problems with any of them.

I also have an account with e-rice.net. Really cheap hosting ($20/year), but the money you save is spent on headaches and frustrations.

Hi,

This has been done in some other forums and by the end of the day everyone is pointing fingers and there's still no answer. You'll have to do your own research.

I've reviewed over 250 webhosts in my search for the 'best' webhost... The answer is not simple and you can never be sure which one is the 'best'... since each one of us has different priorities.

Service comes at a price. Your budget and your clientele will decide what level of service is acceptable to you.

Best of luck.

Thank you, but you misinterpreted my purpose. No fingers need be pointed. I simply would like to know who everyone is using and why they feel it is worth it. Like you said, who you chose should be determined by your needs and budget. This could actually be added as well!

Please don't let diptanshu keep you from adding your experience here!

Thanks!

I've used/use dreamhost, 1and1, and ev1. Ev1 is my favorite. Most reliable and best control panel. However it comes at a slightly higher price.

Dreamhost for me atm, simple, cheap and can host multiple sites... although I must say they are very slow. But they are a good place to start. Hopefully I'll be moving to a dedicated server or two soon.
