I just started a new website called predictionpad.com, with the concept being:

I’m offering to backlink anyone who writes a prediction for my page.

Your prediction can be about anything. It can be about what the next Microsoft product flop will be (Zune), when someone will land on the moon, or what happens next in your favorite television show. There is no limit to how many you can submit, as long as you backlink to here. Let your mind wonder, and send me some material.

I have a prediction for predictionpad.com: At least, it's page rank stays extremely low. Worst case scenario, Google bans you site.

Although I can see you getting a lot of back links, they would be from completely random and uncorresponding sites who share little to nothing when it comes to topic and relevant content. This is frowned upon in the SEO world and can only hurt your site in the long run.

We both get link backs, yet we write for your content.

SEO wise - I dont care too much that the links will be random. So will the content.

Adsense/PR - Gonna keep the site clean for a bit. Down the road, maybe looking to go with TLA

This is simply a hobby site for me. If the backlinking is too much then I can switch it up. I can just have ppl write predictions, I don't backlink, they dont backlink, and we're at square one.

JohnChow.com does the same backlinking thing for reviews, nobody is has a problem there...sure he's a huge PR site but,

I'll probably switch to simply giving backlinks to people that send in predictions. That way I get some content and you get a link.
