hey guys,

there have been a fair few people who have been asking questions about how to make money from blogging, so I have decided to write a short 10-15 page report on how to go about it from a beginners perspective.

Is there anything specifically that you guys would like to know about making money from blogging?

Just an update, I have started on the report and am already 8 pages in - but havn't got to the part about actually making money.

this report will be a beginners guide to:

1. starting a blog
2. Building a Flood of Traffic
3. Converting Visitors to Subscribers
4. Monetizing Your Blog

Currently only at the early stages of point 2 so this ebook could get to be closer to 20-25 pages.

Feel free to mention anything you would like me to include.

hey, i got a blog and just started and getting about 500 visitors a week. i want to know how to maximize revenue or opportuinity. i applied to adsense so waitiing for their approval but i wanna know other ways to make money or take advantage of traffic like have people subscribe to emails or such. also i'm on a low budget.

I would start by getting wordpress in there and a lighter theme.

But getting revenue, I would focus on building your feed count first. Provide quality content as ask people to subscribe. Impliment monetisation trategies when you are getting consistent traffic.

Yeah I agree with RichKid that we must concentrate on traffics and contents building before we talk about monetization. Being patient is also a must for people who wants to make money from blogging

My traffic is growing on a daily basis, as well as my advertising revenue. People consider my site a blog, from friends, family, and possible investors. I am still up in the air about this because my sites updates are all user-created and published. I own a consumer review website.
I have found that the more traffic you have the more revenue you have. Promote, promote, promote and you will start to see the money come in.

I use Adbrite and have already set up all the advertising space in my site, so when my site gets the traffic that I already have everything set up.

Yes, I agree with you that : More Traffic = More Money

However, I believe a blogger should target more on credibility! This is the only "weapon" that we can leverage to make longterm money.
